Macbeth-Act 2 Response

Macbeth should just stay low and not say anything about him killing Duncan. Even though he is probably going to get caught anyway and die he should still not say anything cause that would ruin Lady Macbeth's plan for killing the king. But if Macbeth wanted to turn himself in and die then he should do that, but he probably doesn't want to do that. Macbeth might be able to get away with killing the king. Lady Macbeth is definitely going to get away with killing the king. Macbeth might not be able to handle this huge weight on his shoulders. He might not be able to handle it because he was "paralyzed with horror."

Shakespeare- Response

Well we probably teach Macbeth and Shakespeare so we can learn the different types of writing and language in all these different books. It is good that we teach Macbeth and Shakespeare even though we don’t really understand what they are saying we can still get an idea of how they wrote and talked back then. One experience with Shakespeare was last year when I had to act out a little part in one of the Shakespeare books. Another Shakespeare experience was when we were reading one of the books and then we just had to discuss about the things we read in the book. The acting that we had to do was ok because I don’t really like acting in front of people because I get nervous, but it was ok. The reading and discussing was probably better for me because I got to read the book and discuss about what I read and what I thought about the Shakespeare book. Therefore, by reading Shakespeare and Macbeth it is a good way for us to learn all the different writing and language that was used back in the day.

Life of Pi Response

Yes this novel will be good to read as a whole class because it demonstrates survival and life. One reason that this book will be good for the whole class is that there are a lot of metaphors in this book. The second reason that this book will be good for the whole class is that Pi believes in three different religions and he still does believe in those religions. The last reason that this book will be good for the whole class is that this book gets very interesting how Pi is stuck on a life boat with this vicious and dangerous tiger. I think that all college and high school students will enjoy this book no matter what because it is always exciting and thrilling through the whole book. Some quotes from the book are:
"Jesus, Mary, Muhammad and Vishnu!"
"So long as no excessive water is lost through perspiration, the body can survive up to fourteen days without water. If you feel thirsty, suck a button."
"Just beyond the ticket booth Father had had painted on a wall in bright red letters the question: DO YOU KNOW WHICH IS THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMAL IN THE ZOO? An arrow pointed to a small curtain. There were so many eager, curious hands that pulled at the curtain that we had to replace it regularly. Behind it was a mirror.
These quotes are about religion, survival, and how humans are the most dangerous animals.
