Editorial - A pause on the Tracks

In this article I found some logical, emotional, and credibility. For logical I found statistics and deductive reasoning. Some of those statistics is that the average streetcar is operating every 15 minutes. The Seattle Department of Transportation is hoping to buy more streetcars by July 15th. These streetcars cost more than buses but streetcars last two and a half years longer. Streetcars cost $3 million and buses cost $800,000. For deductive reasoning I found that the more streetcars then the fewer buses. For emotional I found a rhetorical question that said let’s see if enough people ride the streetcar, and if its value is better than a bus? For credibility I found I found expert knowledge. That expert knowledge is that if you use the repair barn for 10 cars instead of three the cost will drop and also that streetcars should be a success by this summer. Another expert knowledge is that streetcar expansion is better than bus expansion because it is less politically connected. I found out that logical is basically just causes and effects, statements, and statistics. Emotional is negative emotion, positive emotions, metaphors, and rhetorical question. Also credibility is basically something the article says and then gives examples of why you should keep reading.
